Funeral plans set for 7 year old Freeport Police officer

Stroud Funeral Home in Lake Jackson has announced the funeral plans for the late Abigail Arias.

Abigail passed away on Tuesday, November 5 th after battling an incurable cancer at just seven years old. Abigail created a platform to raise awareness about cancer and support the thin blue line. People from all over the world invited her to speak, interview, and she also got to meet some famous people along the way.

Abigail also got to spend quality time with her heroes- law enforcement officers. She was deputized by the Freeport Police in February, and was also deputized by the FBI, Texas Rangers and CIA.

Stroud Funeral Home will be handling the funeral ceremony and has made an announcement on their website.

There will be a visitation Monday, November 11 th , 2019 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Second Baptist Church in Angleton.

The Funeral Service will be held at Grace Church Houston on Tuesday, November 12 th , 2019 at 10 a.m.

Close friends and Brazoria County first responders are invited to Restwood Cemetery immediately following the funeral service for the internment.

After being “inundated with requests” on how people can be supportive during this time Abigail’s family posted on the Abigail Arias Offier 758 Facebook Page, “In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Officer’s 758’s Cancer Fight Mail: 85 Oak Dr., Ste 102, Lake Jackson, TX 77566.”
