Free Clothes Ministry in need of donations to Repair Building
“We need a roof so bad because things leak all around the edges and they ruin the clothes that are donated,” Free Clothes Ministry volunteer, Lisa Celeste said.
Free Clothes Ministry volunteer Lisa Celeste describes the issues they’re having with the building’s ceiling especially after recent rainstorms.
“We’ve got buckets and tubs catching water and its not a good situation at all,” Celeste said.
The Free Clothes Ministry started in 2010 and through the years moved to the Boaz Lodge Hall on South Navarro. The ministry is asking for monetary donations to help repair the ceiling so they can continue to help those in need.
“This is what were asking for today. That someone come help us continue this program because we don’t want to shut it down its a need. Its a need for us to do what were doing,” Free Clothes Ministry volunteer, Wilma Edwards said.
The organization has set up an account at Prosperity Bank on 105 S. Main Street. For more information, contact Wilma Edwards at 361-576-4748.
