He added to his collection, when he helped his team win the 4 X 200 meter dash and the 4 X 100 meter relays, the 4 X 200 broke a state record with a time of 1:28:09. Campbell said just clicked for him when he was running.

It means everything, said Campbell. I kept pushing myself, working harder everyday in order to be blessed with what I got now.

The sophomore has four college offers and they all came after his performance after the state meet.

I changed how I ran, my technique… I grew up, pretty much everything, said Campbell.

His track coach, Adam Spiegleman, is a first year coach and is happy with the growth of Campbell.

He puts in a ton of work with us and some outside guys, said Spiegleman. I think the biggest thing he did was get stronger. The work ethic has been there and everything like that, but he got so much stronger from last year to this year.

For fun, Campbell likes to listen to music by King Juan, Lil’ Durk and NBA YoungBoy. he is currently on season three of the walking dead. He also, likes to study black history and Aztec culture.
