Former Victoria County Sheriff Deputy pleads guilty to invasive visual recording charge

Salinas was accused in March of trying to record a minor in a bathroom as she was undressing.

VICTORIA, Texas – Former Victoria County Sheriff’s Deputy, Tony Ray Salinas Jr, pleaded guilty to invasive visual recording – a state jail felony.

Salinas was accused in March of trying to record a minor in a bathroom as she was undressing.

As part of the deal: Salinas may not have contact with the victim, surrender his peace officer’s license, pay a $2,360 fine and serve 80 hours of community service for the next five years.

Salinas will also be required to serve 30 days in jail.
