Bonuz Gets Honor For Javelinas

A former Calhoun baseball star gets All-Conference honors at A&M-Kingsville.
Freshman Steven Bonuz, named second team Lone Star Conference All-Conference Wednesday night. Bonuz was one of three who were tabbed with filling the void as the backstop left behind by by Generals assistant coach Christian Caudle following the 2018 campaign. The Port Lavaca, Texas, native swung the bat at a .338 clip with 24 hits in 71 at bats, tallied 11 doubles, drove in 17 RBI, scored 16 runs, and compiled a .976 fielding percentage while playing in 29 contests for the Javelinas.
