Synopsis: A cold front will stop just north (short of) of the Crossroads on Wednesday night without any appreciable effect to the weather.  Cloudy skies on Wednesday will start to clear during the day on Thursday after some late-night fog on Wednesday and some early fog on Thursday morning.  Quiet weather is in store for the long-term period as high pressure grips the region allowing for less cloud cover as well as hot and dry conditions.  A cold front moving into the area on Saturday could have enough moisture to bring an isolated shower or two as well as bring slightly cooler temperatures.  High temperatures will range from the upper 80’s to the low 90’s from Thursday through Monday. Western areas away from the water could reach the 100-degree mark during this time periods.  Low temperatures stay in the mid to upper 60’s with a great deal of sunshine during the daytime from Thursday through Monday.  Then, another cold front will push into South Texas on Tuesday with winds out of the northwest that should further reinforce cooler. temperatures.  This could also be the next shot of rain across the Crossroads.
