First United Methodist Church releases hotline number to help people

First United Methodist Church says "Be The Church"

First United Methodist Church is suspending in-person worship services.

“I have said many times that at First United Methodist Church we don’t just go to church, we are the church,” said Dr. Wade Powell, Senior Pastor at First United Methodist Church.

The church is preparing video worship for Sunday morning via YouTube, Facebook and on the church’s website. It will send an email alert to its members.

First United Methodist Church will continue with Wednesday dinner 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. but brown bag dinners will be for pick-up only. Prayer is also always available for anyone.

The church has a hotline for people who need help during this time. 979-999-1231. If someone doesn’t answer leave a message.

You can email the church at bridgefumc@gmail.com.
