DEWITT COUNTY, Texas- The first jury trial in the Crossroads since the start of the pandemic at the DeWitt County Courthouse concludes in a mistrial.

The DeWitt County District Clerk confirms one juror stated their employer had called during lunchtime to let him or her know that they had tested positive for COVID-19.
The juror then came into the courtroom and told Judge Marr and the attorneys in the trial.
