VICTORIA, Texas - The Food Bank Of The Golden Crescent encourages the community to support a major food drive.
The May Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is Saturday, May 13. This one-day food drive, organized by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), is the largest in the country, helping to fight hunger for over 25 years.
Leave a bag of non-perishable food items next to your mailbox on May 13 and your mail carrier will pick it up and deliver it to the Food Bank Of The Golden Crescent.Â
Robin Cadle, President/CEO of the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent, says,
“17.3 % of our family, friends and neighbors still face food insecurity."Â
Since it started, The May Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive has collected over 1.5 billion pounds of food. Â
