Faith Academy Boys Hoops Take District Lead

State-Ranked Cougars 2-0 In District

Faith Academy boys basketball, starting strong in district play.

The Cougars, now 2-0 in district, in the district lead all by themselves. The Faith boys, also ranked seventh in the Texas Association Of Basketball Coaches state TAPPS 2A poll. I asked two Cougars how good they feel about the way things are going for them.

Said guard Jacob Hall, “It feels good to get some wins, but I know we haven’t played to our potential yet. We’re just hoping to go all the way. ”

Said center-forward Landon Rodgers, “We feel pretty good and pretty confident. We can’t take our opponents for granted. We always have to keep pushing in practice and just get better.”

Faith Academy boys basketball looks to go 3-0 in district when its hosts Bulverde Bracken Friday night at 7:30.
