Faith Academy Boys Basketball Hosts Cougar Classic

Cougars Are 6-1 This Season

Faith Academy boys basketball, set to host the Cougar Classic starting Friday.
The Cougars are off to a 6-1 start. That includes a win over state-ranked Moulton, a 47 point win over Austwell-Tivoli Tuesday, and the championship at the Kingwood Covenant Prep tourney. This is the 17th Cougar Classic and Faith Academy has never won this tournament. Head coach Dusty Lemke told me how well his team is playing this season.

“We’re doing a really good job of running the floor. We have really good communication. Our guys are on the same page. We have really good teamwork so far.”

Faith Academy boys basketball plays two games at its Cougar Classic at the NextGen Gym Friday. The first game is at 10:15 in the morning against San Antonio Gateway. At 6:15 the Cougars play San Juan Diego.
