Fair Skies and Seasonable Temperatures Accompany Increasing Humidity Late Today

Clear Skies Overnight, then Rain Chance Returns

A warm front south of the Crossroads separates modified continental air over most of Texas from deep tropical moisture from the Rio Grande Valley into the Central Gulf of Mexico. That means conditions remain relatively dry this afternoon in the Golden Crescent, but moisture will increase over the weekend. Expect isolated showers and thunderstorms Saturday, increasing to become scattered Sunday through Tuesday. Upper level ridging will increase daytime heating and shut off rain chances the second half of next week. High will be in the middle to upper 90s, with lows in the middle to upper 70s.
