Fair Skies and Low Humidity through Friday; Rain Chances Return for the Weekend

Only isolated showers dotted coastal Crossroads counties this afternoon as temperatures surged deep into the 90s under lower amounts of atmospheric moisture. Light east northeast winds will continue over the area through Thursday, keeping afternoons hot and nights mild. Gulf moisture begins to return for Friday, setting us up for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms over the weekend and into early next week as a weak upper level disturbance moves in from the Gulf of Mexico. Temperatures will remain near normal. The tropical Atlantic remains quiet.
