East soccer shuts out Calhoun

East boys and girls soccer hosted a district matchup against Calhoun on Friday at Memorial Stadium.

The Titan girls took on the Sandies first, with East winning 2-0. The Titans improved to 4-0-1 in district. Olivia Salas scored an unassisted goal in the first half. Then, Kyleigh Spree-Kolos scored in the final three minutes of the game off an assist by Salas. East goalie Drew Garcia recorded the shutout with 5 saves.

The the East boys took on Calhoun and won 4-0. Dylan Blough scored two goals, while Abraham Salazar and Rafael Ramirez each added one more. The Titans are now 2-2-1 in district.

Tuesday night, East boys and girls soccer will play at Rosenberg Terry.
