East Girls Soccer Star Signs To Play In College

Spree-Kolos Goes With Our Lady Of The Lake

When she was two and a half years old, Kyleigh Spree-Kolos told her mother she wanted to play soccer.

Fast forward to now, and Spree-Kolos signs to play college soccer. The East senior, signing with Our Lady Of The Lake. Kyleigh holds Titans girls records for most goals scored in a season and all-time goals. Spree-Kolos, the district MVP the past two seasons, and for the past three years, she has played on the U.S. Olympic Developmental Team. I talked with her and Titan girls soccer head coach Misty Boenig.

Said Spree-Kolos, “I want to go as far as I can in soccer. I’ve been dreaming to play for as long as I can. ”

Said coach Boenig, “This is so exciting for us. We’re definitely making history. That’s our slogan this year and that’s exactly what has happened. We are making history with this group of young ladies and the talent is there. ”

Kyleigh Spree-Kolos is the third current East girls soccer player to sign with a college.
