East girls basketball looks for payback against Carroll

The Titans host the tenth-ranked Tigers on Tuesday

VICTORIA, Texas — The Titans will be looking for a measure of payback when they host Carroll at East on Tuesday.

Winners of seven straight district games, East girls basketball will look to continue their strong play when they host the tenth-ranked Tigers at East tomorrow at 6:15 pm. The Titans haven’t dropped a game since January 3rd, a 76-67 loss on the road at Carroll.

“We’re gonna have to stay focused, push the ball, move fast, make sure that we know where our open sports are,” said senior Zakari Perry at Monday’s practice. “And not have any turnovers, as many turnovers.”

The Titans have enjoyed a successful season as well, sporting a 23-7 overall record and 11-2 district mark. After Tuesday’s game with Carroll they’ll play two more before the start of the postseason.
