East Football Wins, Sits, Waits

Titans Could Still Make Playoffs

East football’s regular season is over. Does that mean the Titans are done for the season?
No one knows that now, but if it is the end of East football’s season, the Titans went out with a bang last Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium. East beat Moody, 48-35, to finish with a 5-3 district record, right now putting the Titans in fifth place. Alan Jimenez rushed for 237 yards to go over 1,000 yards for the season. Latavian Johnson threw for three scores. Head coach Roland Gonzalez told me how great was to end the regular season with a home win.

“It’s always great to end the regular season schedule with a win. To do it at home made it even more sweet. “

The only way East football can make the playoffs is if Veterans Memorial loses to Carroll this Friday night.
