East boys soccer improves to 4-0

Titans defeat Palacios 5-1 at home

Victoria, TEXAS — East boys soccer’s blazing start to the 2020 season continued Tuesday night.

The Titans defeated Palacios 5-1 in their home opener Tuesday to improve to 4-0 this season. East jumped ahead to an early 2-0 lead in the game’s first 15 minutes, never looking back as they kept their win streak alive.

East got goals from five different players in the victory, Lucas Chavez, Alejandro Chavez, Joe Aguirre, Caden Allen, and Armando Jasso. The victory comes days after the Titans won their first tournament trophy in program history, winning the Antler Cup last weekend in Kerrville.

East boys soccer is back in tournament play this weekend at the Dripping Springs Tournament, with their first game Thursday.
