Early voting for Texas’ 27th Congressional District Joint Primary Election begins February 14

Early voting for the upcoming Joint Primary Election will be February 14 to February 25 and the last day to register to vote is January 31.

VICTORIA, Texas – Early voting for Texas’ 27th Congressional District Joint Primary Election begins February 14. It includes a crowded race with three Democratic candidates and five Republican candidates. You can read about all the candidates here.

The election is set for March 1 and the deadline to register to vote is January 31. To register click here. You can also stop by the Victoria County Elections office to register in person. It is located at the Dr. Pattie Dodson Public Health Center which is at 2805 N. Navarro. They are closed for Martin Luther King Jr. day on January 17 but will be open 8 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Friday this week. You can visit their website here.

Early voting schedule.

In anticipation of the upcoming deadline, the Victoria County Republican Party will have its January meeting Monday, January 17 at 403 E Power Avenue in Victoria. Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served. Topics of discussion include coverage of the candidates on the ballot in this primary election and discussion of state, county, and precinct convention. Local veteran Vanessa Hicks-Callaway will be the guest speaker at the meeting.
