Driver Of Trailer that Killed Immigrants Indicted

The alleged driver of a semi carrying dozens of illegal immigrants last month was indicted by a federal grand jury.

James Bradley Jr. is facing five charges, including a single count of conspiracy to transport and harbor undocumented aliens for financial gain.

Eight people died inside the truck. Two more died in nearby hospitals.

They all reportedly died because of the sweltering heat inside the trailer.

The temperatures in San Antonio reached the 100-degree mark that day.

Bradley previously said he had no idea those people were in the back of his truck and only realized it when he stopped for a bathroom break.

He’s in federal custody and could get a death sentence, if convicted.

No word yet on Bradley’s next court date.
