Digital Fight Club match at Dallas Startup Week
Lively debates bring spice to entrepreneurial event
DALLAS, Texas- The Dallas Entrepreneur Center (The DEC Network) will host the sixth annual Dallas Startup Week (DSW) powered by Capital One from April 26-May 1, 2020. Digital Fight Club has partnered with Dallas Startup Week to host an evening of fast and furious verbal sparring on Thursday, April 30.
Tired of boring tech events? Digital Fight Club, founded by Michael Pratt, turns the technology panel on its head by putting two tech experts in a boxing ring in front of five accomplished referees and an audience of about 500 CEOs, entrepreneurs, investors and general techies. The “fighters” are given a pre-determined topic to spar over for about 10 minutes. The audience gets to vote for the winner along with the refs. There are five matches on the fight card for the evening. Fighters and referees are still pending.
The Fight Card:
- Fight #1: Money & Tech: Currency vs. Value
- Fight #2: Ubiquitous Facial Recognition: Who Owns Your Face
- Fight #3: 5G: Worth the Hype?
- Fight #4: Digital Doubles: Convenience vs. Privacy
- Fight #5: AI: Beyond Automation
“Digital Fight Club and Dallas Startup Week are a marriage made in Heaven,” said Pratt. “We could not be more exited to bring an event to the entrepreneurial community that is both relevant to startups and a ton of fun!”
The event begins with a happy hour at 6 p.m. April 30 at the Granada Theater in Dallas. The bell rings for the first matches at 7 p.m. Networking time follows the fights. To learn more about the event, go to digitalfightclub.co. To register, go to
