Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Says “Thank You With Barbecue” To Local Teachers and Veterans
A local restaurant is sharing some of its delicious barbeque as a means to say thank you to some very special people in our community.
Kevin Ferrall, owner and operator of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Victoria, says that all Veterans as well as teachers will be given a free barbecue sandwich through the end of October, in order to show appreciation for all they do and have done for our community. Ferrall says the COVID 19 pandemic has hit everyone very hard, especially our teachers and veterans, and he hopes that some free barbecue will help to lift everyone’s spirits during this time.
“You are important to our community, so we wanted to make sure that you are reminded of that and know that you are well respected and taken care of at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit,” said Ferrall.
Ferrall wants to remind everyone that veterans and first responders receive a ten percent discount all year long. Dickey’s is located on north Navarro near Walmart in Victoria.
