DeWitt County SO raid, shutdown two Yorktown game rooms

The DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office shutdown two game rooms and confiscated over eighty machines after late Thursday evening raid.

The game rooms, one located on Riedel street and the other located at FM 108, were shutdown for illegal gambling. Two people operating the game rooms were arrested and charged with Keeping a Gambling Place open and Possession of Gambling Machines. Over four thousand dollars were also confiscated during the raid.
