Devastation from the Sky

Friday, Newscenter 25 went up in a San Antonio AirLife helicopter… flying 1,000 feet above ground.

The historic Victoria Regional Airport torn apart by the storm with it’s roof missing large sections.

The first stop was in Port Lavaca where much of the water already receded, leaving sizable boats on the shore.

The Formosa plant, for the most part, look unscathed.

However, it was when we arrived at the Guadalupe, the scenery changed.

The river spilling over its banks, surrounding homes.

The Pump House and Riverside Stadium both surrounded by water.
