Decent rain chances heading into the weekend

The sea breeze in conjunction with a stalling mid-level Low have brought us numerous opportunities for rain this week. Hopefully we get the rain we so desperately need across the area from these chances. Today we are already seeing showers and thunderstorms pop up across the Crossroads, and that pattern will continue into tomorrow and Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid 90s, with rain chances ranging from 30% to 50%.

Rain chances don’t end mid-week though. We will have a 40% chance for rain on Thursday as well, before subsidence (A.K.A: High Pressure) kicks in and knocks our chances down to 20% into the weekend. With the rain chances decreasing, the temperatures will rise once again into the upper 90s for the weekend. Lows all this week will be in the mid 70s.

As for the tropics, we have 3 areas of interest now, all below a 30% chance of development over the next 5 days. Regardless, we will continue to monitor them.
