Day three of the Victoria Murder Trial began with more testimony.
The trial will resume Friday at 9 a.m. with more testimony before going to closing arguments.
VICTORIA, Texas – Day three of the trial of Jesus Martinez continued today with more testimony and cross-examination of evidence.
The prosecution began the trial by presenting footage of Martinez being interviewed by detectives back when he was originally arrested in September 2018.
So far, several law enforcement officials have testified against Martinez, who is facing two counts of capital murder.
When the trial resumed from lunch, the prosecution presented several crime scene photos such as bullet casings found at the home and stains on clothing worn by Martinez on the day of his arrest.
The prosecution continued to present evidence against Martinez until the trial was adjourned for the day.
The trial will resume at 9 a.m. tomorrow with more testimony before going to closing arguments.
