Cuero’s Patton signs with the Indianapolis Colts
Patton was named All-Sun Belt defensive lineman and All-Sun Belt honorable mention
CUERO, Texas — Former Texas State University and Cuero Gobbler football player Caeveon Patton signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent after the NFL draft.
While in college, Patton was named All-Sun Belt defensive lineman and All-Sun Belt honorable mention. Patton played defensive tackle and nose tackle at Texas State. In his five year career, he totaled 179 tackles, 11.5 TFL’s, and 5.5 sacks.
In high school, Patton was an all-state third team as a defensive end and tight end and was named area defensive player of the year as a senior. He also helped Cuero reach the state quarter finals.
