Cuero Regional Hospital hosting free flu-shot drive on September 30th

CUERO, Texas- Cuero Regional Hospital announced that they are offering a free, drive-thru flu shots while supplies last on Wednesday, September 30th.

The drive will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the front parking lot of the Cuero Regional Hospital, located at 2550 N. Esplanade. Look for signs on how to enter for drive-thru line from Hwy. 183.

“We are thrilled to offer free flu shots to the community we serve, but must note that these will be provided until our supplies run out. Once we meet our number of free shots for the day, the flu shots will be $20 for Fluzone or $50 for Flublok (65 and up) or no cost for those with Medicare (must provide Medicare card for filing.),” said Keisha Whitman, Infection Prevention and Employee Health for Cuero Regional Hospital.

Those with traditional Medicare are reminded to bring their card to the drive-thru event

“We are seeing flu case year round and encourage those in the area to take action to get the flu vaccine. If unable to attend this event, please visit one of our clinics to have them administer the flu shot. Clinics offering flu shots are Cuero Medical Clinic, Parkside Family Clinic, Goliad Family Practice, Yorktown Medical Clinic and Kenedy Family Practice,” said Whitman.
