Cuero personal trainer proposes idea to Shark Tank
A Cuero personal trainer is looking to make a difference in the sports world and that could start with the show Shark Tank.
Quincey Whittington trains local athletes and submitted a video to Shark Tank with his idea for an athletic training facility. He calls it the MGA Factory. Not only would it prepare athletes for the college level, but would make sure they’re mentally prepared as well.
The inspiration came from his own path as an all-state running back for the Cuero Gobblers. When injury ended his football career in college, he realized the importance of having a purpose when the cleats come off.
His video to Shark Tank was selected and Whittington was sent to Dallas to pitch his idea in front of judges. Now he just has to wait for a call from Los Angeles.
