Cuero hospital hosts blood drive to meet increase in demand for blood units

If you missed Thursday's blood drive you can still make a contribution

CUERO, Texas – In partnership with the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center – the Cuero Regional Hospital held a local blood drive to fulfill an increase in demand for more blood units at area hospitals.

And if you missed Thursday’s blood drive you can still make a contribution – says Lynn Falcone, CEO of Cuero Regional Hospital.

“You can go to anyone one of the South Texas centers and donate and you can earmark your donation in the name of Cuero Regional Hospital but the more important part is getting there and donating whether its in the name of the hospital or not, they really do need our help and our support to be able to get the blood products to those who need it,” Falcone said.
