Crossroads students experiment with robots and A.I. at UHV

24th annual Math and Robotics Awareness Day

The University of Houston -Victoria held their 24th annual Math and Robotics Awareness day event for local students Thursday morning.

Students from across the crossroads had an opportunity to learn and experiment with technology related to math and robotics, including artificial inteligence and electrics.

The university believes the event is an opportunity to expand the minds of students eager to learn more on their favorite subjects.

“The teachers are doing a great job sharing with students the need for math and computer science for men, women. And, doing a wonderful job identifying those students with capability. And, events like this will allow them to showcase it,” said Jeffrey Di Leo, Dean of Arts and Sciences, UHV.

UHV will next hold a robotics summer camp from July 8th to July 12th for tweleve students looking to expand their knowledge.
