Crossroads runners place big in day two of the track meet

Day two results from the state track meet

VICTORIA,Texas–The state track meet wrapped up day two and here are some of the winners.

For the girls, Jai’lin King from Refugio takes gold in the 2A long jump and second in the high jump.

Yorktowns Kailey Sinast takes gold in the 100m and the 300 meter hurdles. Refugios Peyton Oliver takes second in the 100 meter dash, and also places second in the 200 meter dash.

For the boys, Refugios Ernest Campbell takes gold in the 2a 100 meter dash and Shiners Trevor Haynes takes second. He also places second in the long jump and triple jump.

The Shiner boys win the gold medal in the 4×200 meter relay and Refugio takes gold in the 4×400 relay.
