Crossroads Golf Academy to open, offer latest technology

The opening of the newly established Crossroads Golf Academy was announced Saturday afternoon by the Club at Colony Creek. The golf academy will be open to both club members and non-members.

One of the academy’s biggest assets is the purchase of the TrackMan 4 – the latest in golf technology. It tracks everything the golf club does before, during, and after impact as well as the ball flight from launch to landing. TrackMan 4 uses a dual-radar system and video to collect data and stores the information, which can then be sent directly to the golfer’s computer or mobile device.

The academy will also offer top flight instruction with Head Golf Professional Casey Russell, former PGA and Champions Tour member David Lundstrom and Assistant Golf Professional Steve Jones.

As well as dealing with a golfer’s grip, stance and swing, the academy will also offer instruction in course management, strength training and nutrition.

For more information on the Crossroads Golf Academy, call 361-576-0020 or go to CrossroadsGolfAcademy.com. Members of The Club at Colony Creek receive preferred pricing on academy services and instruction. All golfers are welcome and invited.
