Maggie Christ, Larry’s wife bought a car in honor of her late husband and put into the show. she tells during the trial she focused on the club but now she is greiving and taking it hard.

“I was overwhelmed and i was thinking about everyone else and now i am grieving. i find myself grieving alot but its a cycle i will always have to go through,” Maggie Christ, Larry’s Wife.

After losing a member last year the club decied to move the car show to a different venue.
“Because of the incident that happened last year and where it happened at, we decided that we wanted to start fresh again and start over because that’s who we are. We are not gonna be defeated so we decided to move it to the Pattie Dodson,” Roy Gutierrez, Organizer .

Guiterrez says this year was one of the biggest car show the have every had and they are grateful for the support.
“There is just amazing support from Victoria here today, the surrounding communities and towns. this is awesome we have over a hundred cars here today, a huge crowd. we couldnt ask for anything better,” Guiterrez smiles.

David Goldson came all the way from corpus to participate in this car show.
“i feel great, there is a lot of cars here, i always like car shows that have a big showing, tells David Goldson, Participant.

His car has already won about 9 different awards and i asked him does he feel like he will add one more to trophy case.

“We all hope to win but if i dont there is a lot of good cars and alot of competition. the more competition the better and if i win thats just a prize,” laughs Goldson.

The Crossroads Cruisers Car Club want to let Larry’s memory live on.
“So today at the end of the show, we will be giving out the Larry Christ Memorial award and along with that we will donate a 500 dollar check to the Food Bank of Victoria in honor of Crossroads Cruisers Car Club and Larry Christ,” declares Guiterrez
