County finalized the purchase of the soon- to- be- former Advocate building
VICTORIA, Texas — Victoria county commissioners approved the final steps in purchasing the Advocate building at 311 Constitution to use as the Victoria Regional Disaster Response and Recovery Center.
County judge Ben Zeller says they approved the closing documents along with the wire transfer to actually make the payment.
“The local long term recovery group will beginning its renovations of its area immediately,” said Ben Zeller, County Judge.
The Victoria Advocate will remain in the building until the end of the year while the renovations take place to the building.
