Could see freezing rain during the early morning hours as temps drop to near freezing

Saturday:  Cloudy with breezy winds as rain chances increase later in the day while temperatures stay below average in the low 40’s.  High: 40. Winds: N 10-15/G20 mph. 30% chance for rain.

Saturday Night: Cloudy with rain chances (freezing rain and sleet) and on the cold side with temps cooling into the middle 30’s.  Low: 34. Winds: N 10-15/G20 mph. A 30% chance for rain.

Sunday: Cloudy skies with below average temperature’s only warming into the lower 40’s.  High: 42. Winds: NE 15 mph. A 20% chance for rain showers.

Sunday Night: Cloudy with rain chances (freezing rain and sleet) and on the very cold side with temps cooling into the lower 20’s.  Low: 20. Winds: NE 10-15/G20 mph. A 80% chance for rain.

Extended Forecast: Monday thru Friday: Temperatures will be cold most of the week with highs in the 30’s and 40’s.  Lows will be in the 20’s and 30’s and even in the teens with clouds most of the week and rain, snow, sleet chances increasing on Monday after another cold front moves into the area on Sunday night.  A wintry mix of rain, snow and sleet could be a part of the Monday forecast but the sun does come out on Tuesday and then the rest of the week on Thursday.

Synopsis: Temperatures stay in the 40’s and 30’s through Saturday and Sunday while a cold Arctic front pushes down Sunday night while delivering potential rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow.  Strong winds will keep wind chills in the 20’s and teens while the cold Arctic air knocks ambient temperatures into the teens Sunday and Monday. Monday could be a tricky dangerous day with a wintry mix of precipitation delivering icy conditions to the Crossroads. Later in the week temperatures start to warm while the sun starts to appear again as well.  Temperatures will warm into the 40’s and 50’s Wednesday through Friday while next Saturday could see temperatures near 70 degrees.
