Community Crossroads welcomes Victoria College

Local author Shama Verma is in with her new cookbook, “Recipes from a daughter of the world – My world in my kitchen.” Shama has a book signing soon at Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave, Texas just west of Austin. It is Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. You can email Shama here. From Christmas candy to tamales her cookbook has close to 200 recipes.

St. Joseph High School leaders are on the show. St. Joseph was founded in Victoria 150 years ago in 1868. It’s a sesquicentennial celebration with many events coming up. On September 28, 2018 there’s a St. Joseph Flyer Alumni Tailgate Party and Homecoming Football Game at Patti Welder Stadium. They’ll give campus tours on September 29, 2018 at Flyer Dome starting at 10:30 a.m. There’s an All-Era Alumni Victory Dance at Keating Field House on September 29, 2018 at 8 p.m. On Saturday November 17, 2018 at 6 p.m. at Flyer Dome there’s a 150th Anniversary Celebration and Night of Honor.
