Community Crossroads welcomes Howl-O-Ween

Pet Parade and Costume Contest

Cuero Main Street is having its 3rd Annual Pet Parade and Costume Contest Saturday, October 26, 2019. The Downtown Farmers’ Market Days also take place along S. Gonzales in Downtown Cuero. It’s your chance to walk the red carpet with your fur-baby and you could win a prize.

The 2019 South Texas Farm and Ranch Show takes place October 23-24 at the Victoria Community Center, 2905 E. North St. For more information you can call 361-575-4581.This year the event is collecting denim. Denim is made mostly from cotton which can be broken down to its natural state and transformed into something new. The Cotton’s Blue Jeans Go GreenTM program wants to keep denim out of the landfill. Anyone who donates denim will be entered into a drawing for a Yeti 35 quart cooler.

Watch Community Crossroads this weekend and also learn about the Victoria County Sheriff’s prescription drug take back program and the Cuero Cares Project set for October 26, 2019.
