Community Comes Together to Bring One Local Girl An Early Christmas

“I got a present for you it was just brought here,” says Franz Rindler.

A holiday surprise to warm even the coldest of days.

“I love you daddy thank you,” says Jacklyn Holton as her father figure hands her Christmas presents from the community.

Neighbors sprinkling a hint of December magic to make Christmas possible for 21 year old Jacklyn.

“The out pour has just been phenomenal,” says Rindler.

After hearing Jacklyn’s story of being rejected by several gift assisting organizations because of her age, the community came bearing gifts.

“We touched a group. Someone actually spoke up and touched a group that we’ve all forgotten,” Rindler says.

Due to Jacklyn’s child-like mentality, residents feel she should be included.

For Rindler, this act of giving embodies the reason for this holiday season.

“My Christmas is made. I don’t need a thing because my Christmas has been made by her,” he says.
