Meager Rain Chance Ends this Afternoon

A cold front moved through the Crossroads early this afternoon, sending temperatures down some 20 to 25 degrees as compared to yesterday and also bringing light to moderate rain showers. The rain chances will end by sunset, leaving mostly cloudy and colder conditions overnight. Expect a clear weekend with cool mornings and mild afternoons, followed by a warming trend under sunny skies the first of next week. A series of disturbances and a strong cold front play into the Thanksgiving holiday scenario, with isolated to scattered showers Tuesday through Friday. Best rain chances will be on Thanksgiving Day, with cloudy, windy and colder conditions. No hazardous weather is anticipated, however. Look for highs in the 60s and 70s, except lower 80s on Tuesday. Lows will be in the 50s and 60s.
