Monday: Clouds stay put with mostly cloudy skies, while winds stay moderate, and temperatures continue to warm up into the middle 70’s. High: 74. Winds: SE 5-10mph. Just a 10% chance for rain.
Monday Night: Mostly cloudy and on the mild to warm side with temps cooling only into the lower 60’s. Low: 60. Winds: SE 5-10 mph. A 20% chance for rain.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies with above average temperature’s warming into the upper 70’s and low 80’s. High: 79 Winds: SE 10 mph. A 20% chance for rain showers.
Extended Forecast: Tuesday Night thru Sunday: Temperatures will start to cool on Thursday with highs in the 50’s and 60’s and lows in the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. Skies will be on the cloudy side with the best chance for showers on Thursday (60 percent) and Saturday (30 percent). Winds stay around 15 mph most of the week.
Synopsis: Warmer air stays in the area through Wednesday before a cold front helps drop temperatures into the 50’s and 60’s for highs the rest of the week. Low’s will be in the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s as the cold front on Thursday could trigger scattered thunder showers (60 percent) and even some showers the day before on Wednesday (40 percent). Temperatures will be warmer than once anticipated but temperatures near freezing cannot be ruled out for later in the week as the future moves ahead. Why, cold Arctic air in the Midwest is going to try and matriculate south and into South Texas Thursday through Sunday.
