Clear Skies with Dry Polar Air Dominate South Texas

Expect Cool Mornings and Mild Afternoons

A mass of dry Continental Polar air hovering over the Crossroads today will change little through midweek, yielding cool mornings and mild afternoons with light wind. A stronger cold front arrives late Thursday night, but without much available moisture will generate only isolated showers with its passing. The air following the front again will be quite dry. Expect highs in the 70s this week, with lows in the 40s tonight and Tuesday night, moderating into the 50s thereafter.
