Clear Skies with Cool Nights and Mild Afternoons through the Weekend

Next Rain Chance Monday Night and Tuesday

Clear skies and low humidity swept into the Crossroads this morning behind a cold front pushed by a Continental Polar air mass. The result was the quick elimination of dense overnight fog, an element that has plagued the region much of the week. The mercury surged into the upper 70s to near 80 this afternoon, but a steady north wind will send readings to near 50 by daybreak Saturday. Expect sunny and mild afternoons along with clear, cool nights through Monday. Another storm system brings a cold front and increased rain chances Monday night through Tuesday, and again on Thursday. Temperatures will drop around 15 degrees with the frontal passage, but no hazardous conditions are anticipated. Highs will be in the 60s and 70s, except lower 80s on Monday. Lows will be in the 40s and 50s, except lower 60s on Sunday.
