City of Victoria is seeking your input on storm drainage
Residents will have a chance to share feedback about their experiences with drainage
VICTORIA, Texas – Residents will have the opportunity to provide direction for the city in regards to the forthcoming storm drainage master plan by responding to a brief optional survey. Victoria is currently looking to update their storm drainage masterplan and wants to align its plan with residents’ needs.
The City of Victoria Public Works has contracted with CivilTech Engineering to update the storm drainage master plan which is expected to be completed in the spring. This will also provide further opportunities for public involvement and feedback throughout the development process.
“Including data about the types of changes residents want to see is an important component of the master planning process,” said City Engineer/Public Works Director Ken Gill. “Residents’ responses will help us to ensure our master plan reflects our community’s goals and is based on up-to-date information about drainage conditions in Victoria.”
Residents can take the survey here. The survey also includes questions about residents’ priorities and past experiences with drainage and flooding and the option to give general feedback.
