City of Seadrift declares an emergency, voluntary evacuation ahead of Tropical Storm Nicholas
SEADRIFT, Texas – The city of Seadrift declared an emergency and voluntary evacuation ahead of Tropical Storm Nicholas.
In the proclamation made on September 13, it is stated that Calhoun County commissioners determined there was an imminent threat resulting from Tropical Storm Nicholas.
Calhoun County emergency management officials also declared a voluntary evacuation for low lying areas like Indianola Beach and Magnolia Beach.
