City hosts PACE program workshop for property owners, developers
The program helps owners, developers seek private loans
VICTORIA, Texas – Texas Pace Authority President Charlene Heydinger shared information about the Texas Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program with property owners and developers. The workshop took place on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts.
The City Council approved the City’s participation in the PACE program in April. This program helps property owners seek private loans for energy efficiency projects. It provides reliable collateral in the form of voluntary property liens.
The program does not use state or local tax dollars. You can learn more about how the City encourages development by reading the latest blog post at www.victoriatx.gov/communications.
