Cinemark Theaters Close All U.S. Locations Amidst Coronavirus Concerns
Cinemark is the latest entertainment venue to temporarily close all U.S. theatres
Cinemark Movie Theaters have decided to temporarily close all U.S. theaters amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. In an official email from the company, the closures will begin today, March 18, and will re-open whenever they believe it is safe to do so.
Movie tickets purchased in advance will be refunded. Movie Rewards members need not to worry; their membership points will be extended to June 30, 2020. Memberships themselves will be paused, so members won’t be billed during the closure.
