Cigar night for veterans hosted at Aero Crafters

For many veterans, the transition back into civilian life is a rough one. One veteran wants to make that transition easier.

Adam Daughtrey founded Cigar night for Vets, which is held on the last Saturday of every month at Aerocrafters. He says it is an opportunity for vets to get together with people who understand what they went through, and what it was like being in the service.

On this particular night, they were collecting toys for the Toys for Tots program to help kids in need. Their desire to help the community doesn’t stop there.

“The biggest non-profit we are supporting is the Texas Fallen Project. so we’re donating money to them, and also being able to keep the money in the Crossroads, to facilitate the events and the situations we help vets with,” Daughtrey says.
