Miss Cuero pageant accepting applications

On Saturday, April 30, the annual Miss Cuero pageant will happen at the Cuero Performing Arts center. Girls who are in the first through tenth grades are eligible to participate, after filling out pageant forms. These forms are available in front of the Cuero Chamber of Commerce or can get printed from their website. The Cuero Chamber of Commerce is located at 210 E. Main St. suite A Cuero, Texas. Cuero hosting a Knights of Columbus fundraiser on April 3

Knights of Columbus fundraiser

On Sunday, April 3, the Knights of Columbus council will host their annual shrimp meal for the public to enjoy. These plates will have fried shrimp, rice, coleslaw, and hush puppies. They are taking orders for to-go plates at the price of just $12. This fundraiser is happening at the St. Michael's Catholic Church Hall, starting at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m, to raise money for a scholarship program and other special programs at St. Michael's.
