Canadian High Pressure Overhead to Bring Another Crossroads Freeze; When Does it Warm Up?

A large dome of Canadian high pressure over the Lone Star State is slow to exit the region, allowing another freeze early Thursday for the Crossroads. Thereafter, the system does move east and return a slow warm up to the region. By early next week a series of upper level disturbances induce scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms as strong southerly flow returns Gulf moisture to the area. Highs will moderate into the 60s to lower 70s.
